My father bought a new tank from Easy last week. Gorgeous Deep Blue Professional Edge Series 57G RR Rimless tank with a custom built stand by the crew at Easy.
Got the tank home and filled her up. After we filled it we noticed one of the front seams looked a bit suspect with air bubbles down almost the entire length of the seam. I sent a pic over to Jason so he could take a look. He called me back immediately and didn't BS me at all...he just said "we need to swap that out". He is going above and beyond to take care of the issue. He's not only replacing the tank but having his guys deliver it, swap it out, and replace any lost water, ext...all at no charge. He stands by the products he sells and does everything in his power to solve problems when they occur. We couldn't ask for a better LFS. Thanks to Jason and the crew for the great customer service.

Easy aquariums is where it's at for basically everything reef related! Great bunch of guys there. Always friendly and open to learning and new ideas. That sucks you had a tank issue but that's awesome the way those guys are taking care of it for you. That's what going above and beyond is all about!

I did some research and they get pretty good reviews. I saw where people were bitching about the bulkheads that they supply and a few poor reviews but for the most part everything was positive. I'd be interested to see some poor reviews if you see them...please share.

Didn't "Oceans in Glass" have 10 Deep Blue tanks that leaked on them?

Yeah, I read all of those threads previously. Really don't see a lot there for quality issues. These tanks are SUPER popular because of the price point. If they were junk there would be countless threads on the issues. Most I common I can find is bulkheads suck and the overflow is noisy.

I've got 4 Deep Blues...no issues so far and not complaints about build quality.

Was at Oceans in Glass today, another one bit the dust. 15 deep blue tanks in 3 1/2 years failed with leaks. They always put a nice big sign in the fail tank and leave it in place for a while so everyone sees it.

Yep, I saw the sign as well.... I think i have seen three empty tanks on different visits over the past 9 months, each one leaked. The owner is really pissed off, it seems every couple a months another tank leaks.

The owner is really pissed off, it seems every couple a months another tank leaks. This really sucks! You'd think if it's that wide spread of a problem deep blue would figure out what's messed up with their silicone process. A very easy fix to this problem is if you want to buy a deep blue tank just add a nice thick bead of silicone over the one that's already there, just overlap it. My Allglass tank didn't have any leaks but I put silicone over the old stuff just to be safe. Sent from my SM-N910R4 using proboards
