I came home to a un identified hermit crab eating a beautiful Acan head tonight. He ate 2/3's of the head, I was pissed !!!!!!!!!

Sometimes the Acan will be ok. I've had frags with cut in half heads and they repair themselves. I'd just dip it. I don't like crabs in my tank, they are all in my sump

He cleaned out the mouth and tentacles so I would think this head is gone but I am going to try to see if it will come back. The Hermit is now in a Fish only tank in N.H.
