I think I am just going to bite the bullet and order all the parts pice by pice from usa based distributors will cost a litte more but will save the headaches

Just use Ebay and Amazon and always pay with PayPal. If there is an issue you can get both Ebay/Amazon involved and PayPal. I just ordered a TON of crap from China and had no issues. I probably used 8 different companies to get parts. I ordered a light fixture for my dad that came in damaged. They sent me replacement parts the next day.
The real downfall is shipping time but if you're patient than I wouldn't be too worried about ordering from those sites.

So I ordered my Leds from Reefledlights.com last night and got a email from them today saying they were out of one color so I called them and un like most distributers they picked up the first time and let me tell you they know what they are talking about. Not only did they upgrade my order to make sure it shipped today but he helped me decide what optics to choose from and gave me some grate tips on setting up my lights to maximize there affect.
