Petco stores currently have a 25% off coupon on all aquatic supplies. It works on anything in aquatics.....The Bangor Petco is now sold out of MP10s :0)

They didn't do that for us at the topsham pet co I don't think. But everything we bought was on super clearance already so it might not count for things already on sale?

Yeah I have to say I am un impressed with what S.Portland Petco stocks after stopping at Woburn, Salem, and Portsmouth.

$235 is normal price I think after taxes and everything they were $180ish but you'll get a $5 coupon for every $100 so that's worth considering I believe only Magnet stores with the designates frag tanks offer them. I know Bangor is one (I'll be checking regularly for new stock) I don't k ow if any others in Maine have them.

The bummer is it's too loud for my living room. It sounds like my washing machine on spin cycle, and with the "silent ordinance" in my living room........it's not going to make the cut.
I've wanted one of these for so long, and they are super cool, and look great in the tank..........but the whirling sound is crazy.

Now of course I'm wondering if I had 2 of them, running at 50-60%, if that would quiet them down to an acceptable level. I'm running this one at 80-90%, and I think that is making it noisy since it's working so hard.
Anyone have an extra Petco coupon?
I almost bought 2 of them yesterday, but hated to spend $360 on them. But they look so great in the tank, that I hate to give up on them so fast.
