So my first question is about ro units. I need 50 gallons a month. Is itbetter to run Iit once a month or make 12 gallons a week?
Second my tank is doing amazing the rocks are clean I got tons of acro growth and all the other corals are happy. I use reef crystals salt mix and add kalk to the evap water. Also add alk. Those are the only things that go into my tank. Do you think I should be dosing a 2 or 3 part to the tank. Im wondering if I can kick it up a knotch or if everything is well leave well enough alone?

do testing just dont add things If testing shows it needs it then add what ever it is slowly to bring it up just a little every other day. the slower the better they need time to acclimate

I do a water change of 10% every six days strictly. Almost down to the hour. Ive been making all my water in one run. Just didnt know if there was a reason not to do it that way.
Everytime ive tested my tank everything has been perfect but with the acros growing fast my thought is that might start changing as the demands grow.

There's no reason not to make your water like that. It's actually better for the Ro unit to stay on and make a lot of water then to keep having to making water all the time. Not that it would hurt anything. It's just that the longer an Ro unit is on, normally the lower the tds gets and the less your Filters and membrane have to work. So less often you have to change your filters. Your doing it the better way now so if it's not a hassle why change it? I hope I explained this right?I just rolled out of bed! Lol:)

mine is connected all time to float valves. one to the refugium top off for evaporation and the other to an ro holding tank when i need change water i get it from tank and mix in salt and it fills automatically. You can get auto shutoff for 10 bucks on ebay for the waste waterline.
