They look nice. How is the evaporation rate on these? I've got a 5 1/2 gal freshwater tank at work that loses a lot of water each day. I put a glass cover on at the end of each day before going home, helps a little.

Keeping the cover on all the time will help more. I lose more out of the tank with the aqua clear filter than i do from the other. I'm going to actually mark it and measure the loss in a 24 h4 period, but at a guwsa about a cup a day from one, and probably 1/4 cup a day from other, doesn't have filter and has glass cover.

But, it did great, that little container didn't lose any water. My biggest issue was lighting it. I may set another back up if I come across a simple small light that would work.

Very nice Pico. I had a 1 gallon on my desk at work for a while. There is an art to getting these little tanks to look good. Mine never really flourished.

I have two, this one has only been up about a month now.
I'm gonna take a day and cut everything off the plugs and glue to the rocks, the plugs and tiles take up much space, tho they make fragging easier but I'm putting them all on rock. I really like the minimal look and both my tanks feel crowded
