As I mentioned in the January Swap thread, Jess will be coming sometime before the swap date to grab a few things and kindly has offered to pick up some things for other members who might have wanted something but either cannot make the trip down this way or was planning on getting something from us at the swap.
We typically do not like to hold any coral frags for customers more than few days to a week at best. So here are few details for anyone who might want to place an order for Jess to pick up for them.
1. If it is on drop box then 95% of the time that coral is available. Frags are sold on a first come first serve basis. We log the order that we receive emails/calls/private messages and base priority off of that. If a particular coral you were interested in was claimed by someone ahead of you we will let you know.
2. There we will be a couple ways you can request frags from us for the swap.
a. Non-prepaid frag reservation requests. You see something you like and it is not claimed we will put that coral aside for you. However we do have some active customers that come in and check out what we have fairly often. Since this would be a non-payment reserved frag, we reserve the right to sell this to cash in hand customers. This is just due to the fact that we do not like to tell customers, “no you can’t buy that frag because someone has verbally claimed it”. There have been times where we have verbally held a coral for a customer and someone in person has come in and offered to buy that very same piece. We have told them no in the past and then had the customer not come and pick up that coral or change their mind. If a frag that you originally requested verbally was sold between now and the time Jess comes to pick up the orders we will contact you and let you know and you can seek a replacement if you would like. If everything you orginally inquired about is available within a day or two of Jess coming and you would still like those pieces, you must either pay via paypal or work something out with Jess as far as payment, ie. she pays us for your coral then you pay her at the swap. If paying by PayPal, the buyer is subject to pay for all PayPal transaction fees. We will send an invoice to you that will represent these fees along with your total.
b. Pre-Paid Orders. If you 100% know you are going to the swap and would like something you may pre-pay with us on PayPal. The buyer is subject to pay for all PayPal transaction fees. We will send an invoice to you that will represent these fees along with your order total. By pre-paying that coral frag is yours and will not be sold to any customers that may come by in person from now until the time Jess comes by.
3. By agreeing to have Jess pick up your order, we will not be responsible for what happens after that the frags leave our system. That will be up to you and Jess to work out either a pickup or how she will store your frags until the time of the swap.
4. If you pre-paid for a coral and something happens to it in our system, ie. takes a turn for the worse and does not look good or it perishes, we will refund the amount for that coral or you can pick a replacement.
