Does anyone here use these type of pumps for circulation?
I'm debating getting a MP10 for my tank to increase flow. My 2 Nano 425's just don't have the gusto to move the water enough, and I hate to go with bigger Koralia type pumps since they will take up too much space in the tank.
The MP10 looks like a beast, with from from 300 to 1500 gph. With the shape of my tank, I think it would really move the water around great and eliminate any dead spots.
They are pricey, but if they replace 2 pumps and work..........it might be worth it.
Be nice to give one a demo before investing $$$

They are nice, I've been wanting one for years but with all the things I've heard about some people having to replace one side or the other every couple years, I'd opt for a tunze or a jebao pump instead.

Jebao are the best bang for your buck that's for sure! And there coming out with the 2 newest models soon! Wp-10 amd wp-60. I got the wp-40 and it's awesome best pump I ever owned! Pushes allot of water to!
75 gallon Sps dominant Reef, Vertex Omega 150 Protein skimmer, eshops overflow, 40 breeder diy sump, Jebao DC9000 return pump, Maxspect gyre xf-150, Jeabo wp-40 and 2 Radion gen3 pro's (Ran at 65%)
the mp10 will save you space the jebao pumps are bulky but like stated before everyone I have talked to says you will have to replace everything but the part in the water within 2 years

I like the vortech. They do have a low profile in the tank. I mainly use MP40 and MP60 have not use to many MP10s. They r good but a little pricey. The inside and outside parts sometimes jump apart if they r not lined up correctly.
Love my MP10 I had a hard time forking over the $$$ for it but it was worth it also has a great resales value if you decide you do t like it later one used ones only save you $30-$50

Have you seen the wp-40 or wp-25 in action? My wp-40 pushes to much water for my tank if it's turned all the way up. But I wanted to leave room for upgrades. Like a BIGGER tank:)

Love my MP10s - Been running for 2+ years with now issues. I clean the rotors in vinegar about every 30-60 days. I have 2 opposing in a 75 (48") tank. Here's a video that shows the flow:
