They are good cleaners for your tank but not good to touch. They have thousands of tiny venomous spines that can burn, itch and even make your fingers or effected skin swell up if you get stuck by them, it sucks.

Bristle worms are harmless for the most part....... at least to your tank! Lmfao but please don't think every worm that's in your tank is a bristle worm because there's some worms (fire worms)that look identical to bristle worms when there small and then they grow up get a big appetite and start munching on your favorite corals! My thinking is always make sure your 100% positive that things are safe for your tank.
