if your considering this do allot of research on it. there is nothing available for dosing your reef tank! this is what I use (and cheap) www.amazon.com/Sulfur-Defense-Organic-Cystals-Lb/dp/B009K62S28I add a couple teaspoons a week but dont forget my system is 200g+ when I first started I was using pills and ended up having tons of issues with algae and diatoms pills have binders and silicates so dont use them

Idk I just don't understand how one of the most abundant things in ocean water isn't put into any brand of salt mix? They'll sell a bottle of trace elements that has things in it that have absolutely no use in a reef tank but leave other things completely out??

Interesting.... I have been dosing vodka and vinegar now for over a year. I have had amazing results... I don't dose very much as it does not take very much. I started using very VERY small dose, and slowly VERY slowly increased the dose. Once my nitrates went down to zero i cut the dose in half i think, then that is the amount of a "maintenance" dose that i add... I used a thread from Reef Central, that is what I went by. I also use two dosing pumps hooked up to my apex.... Everything is dosed automatically, i only fill up the containers every 3 months... Oh and just a note: Vodka is 10 times stronger than vinegar... therefore you only need 1/10 the amount of vodka... for more information here is the link for reference... www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2134105
